MIKE GALE - PT
Owner & Operator
My path as a physical therapist began at a young age as I observed my father in and outside of his physical therapy practice helping people in need with injuries to reduce pain and return them back to normal life. He was and is still a great example to me that I’ve learned to follow and now follow his footsteps in serving and helping those in need as a physical therapist.
I worked for a couple years in high school as a physical therapy aide and enjoyed working with people but didn’t really care to be inside all day. I love working hard and being outdoors and framed for a summer as well as worked landscape construction during my undergraduate studies but didn’t like hurting all day. It was then I decided to pursue my degree in physical therapy to gain a better understanding of the body and how I could help others overcome pain and limitations in function from their injuries.
I graduated from Brigham Young University Provo in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Emphasis in Physical Therapy. From there I did my graduate studies and received my Masters in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University- Osteopathic Medical Center in 2002. I returned home to Kennewick and we worked together for 17 years until he retired in 2019.
Over the years we have striven to treat others as we would like to be treated and make our patients feel at home and part of the Gale Physical Therapy family. We have an amazing team of staff that offer the best care possible for the needs of our patients and customize to the individual. We use a variety of treatment options including but not limited to hands on manual techniques, exercise progression for stretching and strengthening, modalities for pain and inflammation as well as state of the art unweighted treadmill, vibration traction and vibration plate therapy applications for spinal rehab as well as sports and balance training.
When I am not busy at work I love to spend time with my amazing wife and four daughters as well as other family and friends. I enjoy anythings outdoors but especially love camping, backpacking, downhill skiing, road and mountain biking. It’s been a wonderful journey so far and look forward to years of more service and fun in and outside of physical therapy.
